     Mike Trask - Stage Time 8:30pm - 10pm

Mike Trask, to this point, has become a household name throughout the Atlantic provinces of Canada by pumping out single after single of a high-energy, blues-rock fusion sound most recently captured on his second full length album entitled "Boots for Flying". With electric guitars, heavy grooves and his one-of-a-kind voice, Mike has begun to make his mark on the "Rock" scene; however, behind the tower of sound that is Mike Trask and Mudhill, another side of this prolific, young songwriter has been hiding. The core of Mike's sound is his songs, and his songs come from an acoustic guitar and him. Mike settles into an "Alt Folk/Blues Storyteller" when set on his own. The heavy influences of Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash and Tom Waits are impossible to ignore as you are taken down a long, winding road of wit and attitude put to poetry, painting you portraits of sadness and humor alike. Though Mike has been performing acoustically throughout his entire career whenever opprotunities arose, a Louisianna-based producer, Eddie Bodin, while on a Canadian tour with Nashville recording artist Hunter Hayes, has convinced Mike that it is time to take the acoustic sound to the studio. Now Mike is back in Canada and ready to start the new year off with a bang.  "Trust In The Universe" is set for a January 2010 release, listen for the first single "High Like You" in the coming weeks.

Mike Chase Band - Stage Time 6pm - 7:30pm

The Mike Chase Band is a rockin, bar band working the New Brunswick club scene and corporately throughout the Maritimes. The band is in it`s sixth year of existence and grateful to have had some solid talented members in the band over the years. MCB`s 2009 line up is as follows and, as always, is loaded with vocal talent and deep in stage experience. MCB is fronted by the band`s namesake Mike Chase, Nick Constantineau and Frank Richard, who put one of the strongest three part vocal packages on the market and with Ed LaPointe on drums and percussion, MCB has well over one hundred years of hard earned gigging under their belts. Independently, MCB members have worked the stage with and/or shared a ticket with Many great artists from all genres at venues abroad..(to our industry friends, you know who you all are and we are glad to have worked with you along the way),...Band members have been in numerous bands and performed at events sanctioned by The Canadian Country Music Association, Music NB and the ECMA. Frank and Mike have a long list of written original songs and band members all have recording experience.

That was then...these days the band makes it`s bread and butter putting one of the most diverse mixes of music on stage that can be found, and is one of the busiest working bands in NB. Gone for now (hiatus we`ll call it) are the days of chasing dream, recording and marketing our own music...been there, done that.  Time to make some money and do what we love....playing it because we want to! MCB covers everything from classic rock to classic hits, party favourites, outlaw country and even has grown to include a repetoire of Atlantic Canadian Celtic music, as required when working corporately.

The group is known as a vocal band that sings their guts out every night, led by Mike and layered with harmony! MCB also uses the very best in effects, so you will hear the bagpipes in songs like Copperhead Road, saxophones in the old rock classics and you`ll hear electric, synthesized and acoustic guitars...in other words Eagles sounds like Eagles and ZZ Top sounds like the Texas Style Blues Rock that it is...combine all of this treasure chest of goodies with some of the best Stratocastic leads a la Frank Richard, dripping with Wah and sustain, a bass groove that`s alive with Nick Constantineau a solid beat set by Eddie LaPointe and you will see why MCB is having such a great run in the biz,..oh and it doesn`t hurt that these four banditos are some of the craziest fun loving old seasoned stage dogs you`ll find!

MCB has the flexibility to fit most anywhere, these hard gigging party pirates can rock hard with the best of them, bang out some hard driving country with the rest of them and if that doesn`t work they`ll lay on the classic hits and harmonize you to death!

If you like to hold your beer high, shake your ass on the dance floor or just sit back and sing along to sone great classic hits and smokin originals, then welcome aboard the MCB express and join in the fun!

The MCB atmosphere is lively, electric and fun. It`s a party atmosphere every night.

MIKE CHASE still appears acoustically in a number of solo shows every year. When appearing solo, Mike is capable of a very eclectic mix of music, including a huge selection of Atlantic Canadian Kitchen Party music.

Mike, Frank and Nick do an all acoustic 3 piece show as well. FLATT BROKE is the 3 piece group and it is well suited for small venues. Flatt Broke offers a broad range of acoustic music.

Mike Chase (Guitars, Lead and Harmony Vocals)

Mike started his career singing at country jamborees as a teenager and those roots led him to release a national album in 2003 to radio, as well as make numerous appearances showcasing his music with Music NB and ECMA. Mike has appeared on radio and television and at many concerts and events. As a writer, Mike has penned approximately 25 songs. Mike grew up in rural NB banging on a flat top guitar as so many Maritimers do on Saturday nights with friends. Although rooted in Country, as an artist Mike considers himself an eighties influenced musician, always fond of great classic rock, a huge Kiss fan as well as a fan of Van Halen and Neil Young. Mike has broad ranging musical interests and projects as he appears also with the Celtic band Common Thread, who have spent six years doing dates in Atlantic Canada. Mike plays guitar, bass guitar and Celtic drum (Bodhran). Mike founded MCB six years ago originally as a backing band for his own music. These days MCB is one of the hardest working bands in NB, deep in musical diversity. As a promoter and producer, Mike Chase has operated his own production company (MTC Productions) for many years, and has worked in many areas of the business, from promoting and producing concerts for his own (MTC Productions), to mixing sound for many a talented touring band, Mike has a zeal for the business and is considered by most, a friend in the industry, with his heart and soul into whatever he is doing. Mike also has coached and mentored many aspiring artists and lends his time to many worthwhile causes and consults in the industry.

EASY STREET BAND - Stage Time 3:30pm - 5pm

“We’re definitely a solid rock band,” says lead guitar player Chris McNamara. “The twist is that the band’s music, even the classic and concert rock covers, reinvented and infused with our own epic style, sound current, fresh and danceable”.

Singer/Songwriter George Horton and guitar virtuoso Chris McNamara have performed together for years as opportunity arose.  The dynamic energy emanating from stage when they perform is intense and palpable.

Their previous endeavours include the band they started called StoneCaste.  A hard driving original rock’n roll group from Sussex, NB.  Youtube videos of StoneCaste

Well received, they enjoyed many years as a featured act on various stages live and taped around the Maritimes.  As the demands of family stressed their time, the group was put on hold until life’s needs eased and they could again concentrate on their music.

Their original songs are from the street, full of soulful, insightful lyrics, unique melodies and delivered with intensity and conviction.  Look for their new album;     “Passion & Pain”- “Observations of the street”, coming this fall.
